Trilavi is run by Indranil Banerjee as Neelverse Lab, in India. This page explains what happens to information about you when you use trilavi.com.
When you read
There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking on this site, and it sets no cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser, the pages requested and the time) to run and protect the site, for as long as its own policy requires. The page asks its own servers for the training data it shows; none of that is about you.
When you comment
A comment keeps your name (or “Visitor”), your text, the part of the page it is about and the training step it was written at, the time, and whether it is shown. Once shown it is public, with your name. To limit abuse we also keep a salted hash of your network address, which cannot be read back as the address, with the time of each post, only to count recent posts; older ones are cleared out as new comments arrive. To have a comment removed, write to [email protected].
When you sponsor
You pay on Razorpay’s own page. Card, UPI and bank details go to Razorpay and never reach this site, and Razorpay collects what it needs to take the payment under its own privacy policy. Neelverse Lab sees each payment in its Razorpay account, with the details you gave there, to keep accounts, issue refunds and meet tax rules, and keeps those records as the law requires. This site keeps only the payment’s reference number, the name you typed for the page (“Anonymous” if you left it empty), what you chose the sponsorship to pay for, and the time. Your name appears after a quick check, amounts are never shown, and a refund takes your name off the page.
When you sign up for lab notes
The sign-up, “Hear Trilavi as it learns”, is in the page, in its footer and in a sheet that slides up while you read. The email is the only thing it needs. Your name, organisation, the languages you can judge by ear and what brings you here are optional. There is no box to tick: the sentence beside the button says what the sign-up is for. After you sign up we email you a link to confirm, and you get lab notes and listening tests only once you click it. The link works for 7 days.
If you sign up, Neelverse Lab keeps your email address, the part of the page you signed up from, and the date and time. Once you confirm, we also keep the sentence you saw beside the button, with its version and the time. If you add them, we also keep your name, organisation, languages and what brings you here.
We use your email to send the confirmation link and, once you have confirmed, lab notes, which go out when something real happens (a result, a finding, a new voice to hear), invitations to listening tests, and word of when the open code, the open weights and the chip demo are released. We use the languages you pick to decide who to invite to which test, and the other details to understand who is interested. We never sell or share any of it, and we do not add you to other lists.
Every email we send has a link to unsubscribe in one click. When you unsubscribe, we delete the details you added and keep only your address, that you signed up, and the date, so that we do not email you again by mistake. Otherwise we keep your sign-up until you ask us to delete it: write to [email protected].
Anyone can type any address, so signing up with an address that is already on file changes nothing there: not its details, and not its unsubscribe. We email that address a link to confirm instead, and nothing changes unless it is clicked.
Sign-ups are stored for Neelverse Lab by Cloudflare, which acts as our processor and may store them outside India. To catch typing mistakes, the form asks public DNS whether your email’s domain receives mail; only the domain is looked up. To stop abuse, it also keeps a salted hash of your network address, which cannot be read back as the address, with the time of each attempt, and deletes these after two days. The confirmation email is sent through Resend, an email service that acts as our processor and receives your address and the email to deliver it. To keep the form from being used to email strangers, we also keep a salted hash of your address, with the time, for each confirmation email, for two days, and send at most three to one address in a day.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, keep them only as long as the conversation needs, and never sell or share them.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can withdraw your consent at any time, and ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Write to [email protected].

Neelverse Lab’s other sites and apps have their own privacy policies.
Changes
Trilavi was called Kalarav until 4 November 2026. Sign-ups, comments and sponsorships made under that name are kept and handled exactly as this page says; nothing about them changed with the name.
We may update this page; the date above shows the latest version.
